The compact and powerful Shanling EH1 D/A converter and headphone amplifier is ideal for laptops, PCs or consoles. For D/A conversion, it uses a Cirrus Logic CS43198 chip, which supports PCM up to 32-bit / 768kHz and DSD512. The OPA SGM8262-2 amplifier chips then offer a fully balanced output with a power of up to 1015mW (or 399mW when using the unbalanced output), distortion of just 0.0004% and an SNR of 122dB. You can adjust the bass and treble frequencies using two controls on the front of the device. Thanks to UAC1.0 support, you can also use the Shanling EH1 with devices like the Nintendo Switch without needing to install any drivers. The volume wheel is backlit with a colour that corresponds to the sampling frequency currently in use. Naturally, it is Hi-Res certified. It includes a USB-C input and RCA analogue, 4.4mm, 6.35mm headphone, and coaxial outputs.
