Combination of induction and radiant hob

SENCOR SCP 4001BK two-plate induction and radiant cooker. The glass-ceramic surface of the induction hob is cold to the touch, as the heat is generated directly in the cookware by induction (beware, the hob may be partially heated by the cookware). Induction cooking saves time (60%) and electricity (50%). It has high efficiency (up to 90%) and minimal heat loss. The smooth ceramic surface of the cooker guarantees easy and hygienic maintenance. Easy operation combining a classic rotary dial with a touch panel.

Minimises heat loss

When cooking on a conventional hob, the hob is heated first, then the heat is transferred to the bottom of the cookware on the hob. It is the heat transfer from the hob to the bottom of the cookware that causes significant heat loss. Especially if the container does not have a flat bottom and it is not in full contact with the hob or if the hob is dirty. When cooking on an induction hob, the flat metal base of the cooker heats up directly. This minimises heat loss and cooking on an induction hob is faster and uses less energy.

Left induction hob

The left induction hob offers all the benefits of induction cooking. The power can be adjusted in 10 steps from 200 to 1,600 W or the temperature control can be selected from 60 to 240 °C. Automatic detection of induction cooking vessels (with magnetic bottom).

Radiant hotplate

A true radiant (sometimes referred to as glass ceramic) hob operates with a temperature range of 50 to 500 °C, or with power settings in 10 steps from 200 to 1 800 W. Any cooking utensil can be used for cooking on a radiant hob, but flat-bottomed cookware should be used for optimum heat transfer and maximum performance.

High level of security

Automatic detection of the cooking vessel and its suitability for the type of heating. The induction cooker will switch off if the cookware is removed from the hob or if cookware unsuitable for induction cooking is used. You can easily check the suitability of the cookware by attaching a magnet to the bottom of the container. Over-warm indication light for the right radiant hob.
