The Scanranger 2D Wireless SR300NM - CR KIT is a Laser barcode scanner. In other words, it uses laser beam reflection to read the data. One great advantage of this solution is its simple construction, resistance to damage and the fact that you don't need any special diagnostics to check if the scanner works - just look at the laser beam. The scanner can process 1D codes, i.e. the most common barcodes, such as EAN, at 100 scans/s scans per second.
