SAMSUNG DV90DB8845GBU4
The smart choice for quiet and economical operation
Modern drying options with SmartThings
Control your SAMSUNG DV90DB8845GBU4 tumble dryer – whether you're at home, at work, or on the go. Simply add it to your SmartThings ecosystem and use the intuitive mobile app. The app not only lets you select a drying programme but also recommends the right settings based on the type of laundry, helps you track energy consumption, and even notifies you when the main filter needs cleaning. You'll see when the programme finishes on your Samsung TV, watch, or mobile phone.
Efficient performance with extra savings
Clever heat pump technology uses a 'refrigerant' instead of electricity to heat and recycle warm air. This reduces energy consumption and gives the appliance an A energy rating, making it more economical than conventional dryers*.
Wear your dry clothes sooner
Cut the wait for dry clothes by up to 20%* and reduce energy consumption by 20%** too. AI Dry+ technology recognises 4 types of material*** and adjusts its performance accordingly. It also monitors the moisture in your clothes and selects the ideal temperature for each material type.
Clothes care and efficiency in one
With the Quick Drive function, your clothes will be dry 35%* faster. Unlike conventional dryers, it cares for laundry gently, thanks to the integration of an inverter compressor that adjusts its speed based on the temperature in the drum and the selected programmes.
Cycle suggestions speed up setup
AI Control helps you choose the best drying cycle. It personalises settings based on your habits*, so you don't have to adjust them every time. In the SmartThings app**, you'll also find practical advice, scheduling options, and answers to common problems. This makes operating the SAMSUNG DV90DB8845GBU4 tumble dryer an absolute breeze.
Connect your smart appliances for easy control
Thanks to the built-in Wi-Fi, you can add your Samsung dryer to the SmartThings app* to make it easier to control. With the Dry Planner function, you can clearly schedule your daily tasks**, and if it's connected to your washing machine, the Auto Cycle Link*** function will automatically suggest the most suitable drying programme.
The SAMSUNG DV90DB8845GBU4 adapts fully to your lifestyle
Enjoy laundry care that is tailored to your needs***. The Clothing Care feature in the SmartThings app* analyses your usage style** and other factors, such as the weather. Based on this, it creates recommendations and adjusts the drying cycle to be as efficient as possible every time.
**A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required. Stores user data, preferences, and usage patterns to improve recommendations.
***The user is solely responsible for any and all consequences. This includes, but is not limited to, any damage or harm resulting from the user entering incorrect information.
Intelligent routines save you time and effort
Household chores no longer have to cut into your free time. In the SmartThings app, you can schedule and automate common tasks, so your smart home takes care of them on its own.
Dry clothes in just 81 minutes
In just 2 hours, you can be neatly folding laundry from a full basket into your wardrobe. The Super Speed programme on a Samsung washing machine can wash a mixed load of cotton and synthetics in 39 minutes*, and the dryer with the same programme will have your favourite outfit dry in just 81 minutes*.
**Based on internal testing of the WW9400B model with Quick Drive, using the Super Speed programme, washing an IEC load (cotton + synthetics) with a standard 5kg load. Results may vary based on actual usage conditions.
3 sensors for precise drying
The OptimalDry function can detect the moisture level and adjust the drying time accordingly. This makes the whole process faster and prevents energy loss. The function also prevents damage to clothes and monitors the condition of the heat exchanger, reminding you when it needs to be cleaned.
Lightning-fast drying in 35 minutes
Need clothes for work or the gym quickly? With the Quick Dry 35 programme, you can be done in just 35 minutes*. The SAMSUNG DV90DB8845GBU4 reliably dries a load of up to 1kg using high heat, which gets your favourite outfit ready to wear in no time.
No more ironing every t-shirt
The SAMSUNG DV90DB8845GBU4 tumble dryer not only saves you the work of hanging laundry but also ironing. Simply select the Wrinkle Prevent function, which tumbles the drum without heat for another 180 minutes after the programme finishes. This prevents creases from forming on your clothes, and they are ready to be put away in the wardrobe as soon as you take them out.
Catches even the finest fibres
The innovative 2-in-1 mesh filter keeps the SAMSUNG DV90DB8845GBU4 tumble dryer in perfect condition, protecting the heat exchanger while capturing dust and fibres from clothing. Its maintenance is easier than with separate filters, and combined with notifications that remind you when the filter and heat exchanger need cleaning, care is truly worry-free.
Hygienically clean, bacteria-free laundry with the SAMSUNG DV90DB8845GBU4 dryer
The Hygiene Care programme disinfects both dry and wet items*, such as soft toys and bedding. During drying, it infuses them with high heat, which eliminates 99% of the most common bacteria** and reduces their build-up.
**Based on an Intertek test report for the Hygiene Care programme. Eliminates 99.9% of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria. Individual results may vary. This feature is intended for cotton and linen fibres only. Using it on other types of material may damage clothing.
Scratch-resistant tempered glass
The SAMSUNG DV90DB8845GBU4's tempered glass door ensures a timelessly elegant look. It offers greater durability and a lower risk of breaking or scratching than its plastic counterpart, even with frequent opening and handling.
Durable and economical
Purchase any Samsung dryer model with a digital inverter motor* with confidence and receive a 10-year warranty** on the motor.
** The 10-year warranty applies only to the digital inverter motor of dryers purchased on or after 1/4/2026. Proof of purchase showing the date of purchase is required to make a claim. Other restrictions and conditions apply; please see the warranty terms and conditions for details.
