Technology of the future
The unique and innovative 3D V-NAND flash memory architecture is a brand new breakthrough in performance compared with today's conventional NAND architecture. Memory cells are stacked in up to 32 layers, and the memory cell density is greatly enhanced, which provides, amongst other things, greater storage space at lower cost.
Achieve the maximum speeds
Achieve maximum read and write performance and increase the performance of your TurboWrite computer. The 850 EVO delivers top-of-the-line performance with read/write speeds of 540MB/s and 500MB/s.
Switch to a higher gear
Take advantage of the latest Samsung Magician software and activate its RAPID mode to use unused computer memory (DRAM) as cache storage.
Durability and reliability supported by 3D V-NAND technology
The disk can double the Total Bytes Written (TBW) compared to the previous generation - and it delivers guaranteed durability, backed by a five-year warranty.
