Rhodiola rosea is a perennial herb growing up to 35cm in height. It thrives at altitudes above 2,000m above sea level, occurring from the Far East through Turkey and the Alps to the Czech Republic. It is a rare and therefore protected plant in the Czech Republic. Although it is an alpine herb, it can be grown in virtually any conditions.
Rhodiola – rhodiola rosea – affects the heart and vascular system, supporting oxygenation and blood circulation. It is recommended for maintaining the normal function of the digestive system, has an effect on physical performance and condition, and influences cognitive and mental performance. It has a beneficial effect on the nervous system, reducing feelings of fatigue and stress. It is known as an antioxidant.
