A new generation of wireless flammable and explosive gas detector designed to detect Methane (CH4) based hazards such as natural gas, biogas, CNG, LPG, mine gas etc. Its task is to provide early warning of the imminent danger of leakage of flammable and explosive gases in the monitored area. It is equipped with relay and pulse output, which allows its easy integration into third-party alarm and automation systems. This allows you to connect and control external devices such as automatic gas shut-off valves, alarm signalling elements or fans for space ventilation. The detector operates either as part of the FireSAFE fire alarm system with the support of the Hub FireSAFE central control unit or completely autonomously.

The latest generation of wireless flammable and explosive gas detector designed to detect Methane (CH4) based hazards, such as natural gas, Biogas, CNG, SNG, mining gas and others. The role of the detector is to provide early warning of the imminent risk of leakage of flammable and explosive gases in the monitored environment. The SAFE 5YGAS - RF is powered by a safe 12V DC voltage using a 230V / 50Hz mains adapter, which is also included in the package.
SAFE 5YGAS-RF is an uncompromising security guard
The majority of flammable and explosive gases are odourless under normal conditions. Therefore, to be detected by smell, most gases are enriched (odorized) with special chemical additives. Regardless of whether the gas is odorized or not, the SAFE 5YGAS - RF detector sensor is factory configured to reliably detect gases to activate an alarm before a certain concentration threshold is reached. that would pose a potential risk of danger if increased further, thus safely protecting your health and property.
How does the system work?
In the event that the detector detects an exceedance of the specified gas limit value, it automatically activates a loud 85 dB alarm sound signal, which is accompanied by the flashing of a red LED indicator to indicate a fire alarm of gas leakage. This is a deliberate attempt to attract the attention of those in the building by means of high noise levels and a distinctive LED signalling system to the fact that a dangerous situation is occurring in a certain part of the building. The purpose of a fire alarm is to respond immediately to an alarm event or to evacuate people from the scene of an emergency to a safe area.
Create a safety net
An integral part of the detector is the built-in RF module, which provides wireless connection of two or more FireSAFE detectors via the CONNECTED function, thus creating an interconnected wireless network. When one of these devices subsequently activates an alarm, it sends a radio signal and all other FireSAFE components connected to the network also respond to the alarm.

The intelligent Hub FireSAFE central control unit can be integrated into the wireless network.These components then enable the comfortable configuration and control of the complex FireSAFE system remotely via the intuitive free mobile app of the same name (for Android and iOS), thanks to the Internet connection.
Control outputs and integration into third party systems
The SAFE 5YGAS is equipped with two control outputs (relay and pulse) that provide extensive installation options with an emphasis on maximum safety. The outputs of the device allow direct connection and control of external components, such as automatic gas shut-off valves, alarm signaling components, HVAC fans, electric locks, lighting and other devices used in alarm or automation systems.
Smart automation of external devices
Through the COM/NO relay output, SAFE 5YGAS - RF offers the possibility of its integration into third-party security or automation systems. This allows the connection and control of external devices such as automatic gas shut-off valves, alarm signalling elements or fans for space ventilation. Simply connect the detector to the integration module (transmitter) of the respective system and it will then receive the alarm signal from the SAFE 5YGAS - RF detector via the wired input and transmit the alarm messages to its central unit.
