The Rossmax PF120A adult breathalyser is a helper for asthma patients. It is used for indicative measurement of peak expiratory flow rate (PEF). The breathalyser is used for indicative measurement of respiratory conditions and its regular use and recording of results helps doctors to establish a diagnosis and set appropriate treatment. The colour indicator levels can be adjusted according to your treatment plan and health status. The Rossmax PF120A peakflow meter is lightweight and compact. Use:
Measurements are taken standing up. Take a deep breath and exhale strongly and quickly into the machine. On the gauge you will see the measured value in litres per minute. Take measurements 2 × a day ( morning and evening or according to your doctor ). Repeat each measurement 3 times and record the best value. The colour indicator helps to evaluate the measurement results. Green (80-100%) - follow the medical plan with normal activity. Yellow (50-80%) - warning of the possibility of worsening asthma, it is necessary to follow the doctor's plan so that the values get back to the green level of the indicator. Red (< 50%) - alarming values, it is necessary to seek medical attention.
