Assembly ready in a minute. It really does rotate when it's pulled out and turned on, that's about the only plus. The toys supplied are of varying weights, so the cross is unbalanced and "falls" to one side. In addition, the arm is very short (sideways), so some toys get stuck when turning on the base. And the worst part is the sound of the machine. Absolutely disgusting sound, out of tune, ear-splitting, unlistenable. I'm definitely not going to torture my child (or myself) with this.
