The mouse is delayed however and wherever I plug it in. The sensor is highly inaccurate even on mouse pads. Strange and not very slippery feet. The manufacturer doesn't bother to pack batteries.

I am extremely satisfied with the product. The mouse is indeed silent (of course it makes a clicking sound, but that's perfectly normal, you can't expect any mouse to make ANY sound) which was my main criterion and this is exactly what it fulfills. Sensitivity just right, fast response. A big plus is the possibility of USB or bluetooth connection. I haven't found any problems with the surfaces yet (I don't assume you'll be using the mouse anywhere in the field). And the alleged problem of opening the battery cap is completely unfounded, as the cap falls off when the mouse is flipped and no glue is needed: )
For the price, it's a quality product.
