As other customers have written, these days without smooth software this projector is an expensive piece of hardware. In short, Android TV won't satisfy the more demanding user, and any Apple TV-type add-on solution costs more money and makes the projector more difficult to handle. The new XGIMI Horizon 20 series of projectors comes with Google TV, and hopefully we'll see this problem solved without compromise. We have returned this projector.
