Immediately connected to 24x7 operation in Ubiquiti Unifi Dream Machine SE. No problem with compatibility or physical dimensions. Detection no problem, auto installation no problem. The drive isn't among the quietest (stepping motor), which isn't a problem for me, but might bother some people if it's being operated in a home environment.
