The battery for the Xbox controller, unfortunately, according to the manual, can not work as a dock, because it constantly recharges. However, I use it that way and it doesn't cause any problems and it doesn't get hot.

Simple and functional. Charges without problems.
Replacing the battery and cover was very easy.
The station is a bit strangely light but robust.
The battery charges quickly and e.g. When waiting longer to download or waiting to connect to a game, I put it down and it manages to charge up a bit. That means it almost never runs out of power when you play.

Looks good, works well, licks well, but there are a few negatives. NiMh battery nowadays is a bit of a joke. But what is worse, the instructions say not to leave the controller in the dock after recharging, which is true, because it is still recharging respectively. overpowering and quite warm. So it's not a dock, it's just a stupid pretty charger, which is pretty useless. I really don't understand why I would keep track of when the battery recharges and then take the controller off the dock where it sits nicely, is next to the console and looks pretty good. The manufacturer didn't think this through enough. And it's only in black and white and I have a second controller in blue and purple and neither colour suits it, so I won't be buying a second one and I'm on the fence about returning this one because it doesn't work 100%, at most 50% (it recharges but doesn't work as a dock).
