There aren't many sonic or generally electric toothbrushes available on the market for children under 6, so there isn't much to choose from. For my three year old who doesn't want to brush his teeth, I wanted something that he wouldn't have to keep in his mouth for long periods of time and that would clean his teeth. Unfortunately, I don't really have a way to assess if this is really happening. I'll hope so.
