The adapter is not bad, but it depends a lot on the quality and busyness of your network. In a newer development on the same network, this adapter achieved a real throughput of about 100-150Mbit (it has a theoretical max of 1000Mbit), which despite the network congestion is not ideal. An older adapter of another brand with a theoretical max of 2400Mbit stably reaches 400-650Mbit bidirectionally, which is a noticeable difference. During the test, the adapter unfortunately did not stream uncompressed 4k blu-ray due to bandwidth fluctuations, which theoretically should not be a problem, because stable 60Mbit should be enough. I recommend you test it though, if you have suitable undisturbed wiring, the adapter is not bad.
