It's kind of a DIY minute. I removed the magnetic clip/holder and replaced it with a self-adhesive velcro. He wouldn't go on a wooden cabinet anyway.
You can't adjust the volume, but you can tape over the hole to fine-tune the level as needed. But in the end I appreciate the higher volume, the minute can be heard in another room.
Big numbers
It doesn't turn off, a desirable feature for me. I want to see what's set there. The concerns are completely out of place, digital clocks don't switch off and the battery lasts for years. But against taste, no argument.
It also works as a stopwatch.
Would buy again without hesitation.
The display is grey from the front view, only slightly black from above.
The magnetic holder is, well, not perfect. It doesn't hold, and when you squeeze it, the minute still tilts.
