unthought-out condensate dripping, when you open the lid and condensate flows into the space under the lid and if it fills up, you have to suck it out with a napkin or it overflows onto the kitchen (rice cookers usually have a drip tray)

We originally wanted to buy just a simple single-purpose rice cooker because of our son who kept talking about the benefits of a rice cooker. But we don't regret getting a multi-functional pot with multiple programs from baking to rice cooking to yogurt making. A small compact appliance with many options is definitely better and more convenient for a small kitchen than having several different pots and appliances taking up space.

Large range of cooking methods (many programs)
A big benefit is the ability of most programs to adjust the temperature and cooking time within a reasonable range. Some people might not like it, but I consider it a plus that the temperature and time range option is different for each program and corresponds to the respective program - that means I can't set the temperature or time to nonsensical values for a given program (it drives me nuts).
Manual mode option - custom user settings
Not only cooking, but also frying (roasting), baking and yoghurt making
I appreciate, and this is the first time I've come across this in an appliance like this, that the cookbook includes clear, concise instructions for use and an explanation of each program, along with a table of temperatures and times. You don't have to look for a separate manual and a separate cookbook.
The cookbook is not included with the pot in paper form.
For now, I have not found anywhere to purchase a replacement inner container. For another older machine of this brand, a replacement container is available.
