We've had this blender at home for longer (well, my mom has it). I'm completely captivated. We eat a lot of smoothies at home and this is a blast. The containers are dishwasher safe, the smoothie is smooth, it can crush ice, so in summer it's great for sorbet for kids or iced coffee for adults. We also make a totally smooth pancake batter in it, and it's great that you can pour it straight from the pan, so you save a lot of dishes. The Tritan smoothie bottle can be taken anywhere with you and doesn't leak, seals well. I wouldn't change it again. Truly multifunctional use and quality in one.

I use the blender daily, I make shakes with ice cubes in it and maybe all sorts of healthy things, the blender has outlived me for a year now (although I changed the kettle once), once I stopped the motor completely with the contents, the fuse came on (the blender didn't go for a few hours after that, and it survived), then I put one part in wrong and poured 1 litre of shake in it, the fuse came on and it survived. I'm a graveyard for blenders, this one has many scratches after a year but it still lives, if I were Tefal I wouldn't sell it at all.

Overall, I can say that I am learning with the mixer. The instructions are inadequate and contain no hints and tips. It comes with a cookbook: you add the ingredients according to the recipe, it's supposed to work on one button and it just doesn't work. It doesn't mix. Then there is no advice whether to mix further, slower or faster or add something.
Perfect for smoothies, but other cheaper blenders can do that too.
Buy if you have experience and want better or have the endurance for trial and error.
