I'll start with performance. Those of you who order by performance, take a few steps back and start taking it all in stride. Here I did not measure more (even at higher speeds) than some 120-150w, so the power is 800W. Uh, probably not!
But this is not a problem of a defective product or product line. that's the problem with the overall state of the market for these mixers. One manufacturer will start quoting some totally fantastic and very theoretical number as normal "performance" and then the others have to quote something similar, otherwise nobody will ever buy it. It's just marketing nonsense.
In practice, the 150W will make a smoothie completely fine from just lightly chopped fruit without solid/unblended pieces just fine.
I admit that I am not the type who would throw in a whole apple, nuts or a whole potato and expect miracles from the blender. If you want miracles from a blender. a blender that will blend your smartphone into a mush, so pay a few thousand extra for a super powerful monster. If you want something cheap for a couple of cocktails, this will do, but don't be lazy and cut up the bigger pieces of fruit a bit and don't put the hard stuff in. For this money, don't be surprised if the engine goes out (it hasn't happened to me, I use it sensibly).
And take the performance with a huge margin! But not just this one, but all the others. Until there are some European regulations and independent measurements and certifications, don't expect real values for the mixer. It's all marketing nonsense (for all brands) and fairy tales.
