Accurate sound
Good price, for a player with XLR connectors
Compared to older CD players, the character of the sound is a bit "harder" and gets tired faster
When playing a CD, I can't just press the track number button - I have to press track select, then track number and then play - pointlessly complicated.
High output volume - I have to set the volume control on the amplifier to the minimum compared to older players
