I bought the tower for the ability to record audio tapes in an old car. You can record from USB, CD and turntable. But I'll buy speakers eventually. These are really just for show. I'm not. For the price you can't expect anything more, but don't buy if you want to listen. I immediately plugged in at least a Mashall Middelton and even the turntable can play quite decently through a slightly better speaker.
