I' ve been thinking about a portable speaker that I could take anywhere for a long time. The predecessor was already on the market for a long time, so I expected something new to come out soon, and it came out in the form of the ULT FIELD 7. Considering that Sony chose a completely different naming system that was not related to the previous generation, it took me a while to get this speaker right rank. Subsequently, I did not hesitate and bought it. I' m a little sad about the absence of newer technologies such as USB-C or Bluetooth 5.3, but looking at the competition, it could be wished for. I have experience with an older model from JVC or Sony. This speaker naturally surpasses them. After 10 days of testing in more demanding conditions (house building companion), I have to admit that this Sony model did well. Despite the volume of the phone I still have in my pocket, I am able to bring this speaker to life in no time. On the floor, which has 144 m2, it works wonders.
The LED effects give me a wonderful atmosphere at night for a change. That joy makes my work more efficient. I use the speaker in combination with a Sony Xperia 1 V phone, which works wonders in combination with codecs. I' m already looking forward to the summer garden party outside and indoors. This one creates a wonderful atmosphere. For the sake of completeness, I add that I am not a builder, but a senior IT specialist who was forced by circumstances to do some things on the house himself.: )

Elegant design and backlighting perfectly complements the interior of even modern living.
The sound was absolutely clear even at high volume. Personally, I prefer the "Bass attack" mode where the bass is incredibly powerful for the size of the speaker.
I found the app on my phone almost useless, almost everything can be solved without it, so I usually didn't think to use it at all. The battery life and charging speed exceeded my expectations.
The speaker gets dirty quite quickly due to the rubberized parts. Here I was glad for the waterproofness when it was enough to spray the product with a hose and it was as good as new 😊

What I particularly appreciate about the SONY speaker is the ease of pairing, the large battery capacity and the sound quality, even at maximum volume. As a benefit I also perceive the battery saving that can be achieved thanks to the possibility of turning off the otherwise very effective backlight. The backlight adapts to the rhythm of the selected music and is a good addition for night entertainment. On the other hand, for daytime activities, it is not necessary to have the LED lighting on, which is not as prominent at this time of day. The Sony | Music Centre app is user-friendly and intuitive. Anyone can do it. The speaker is designed with attention to design, detail and practicality. In the case of practicality, I would point out the covered inputs for charging/playing etc., so that no mess gets into the inputs, rubber feet and the possibility to place the speaker in portrait or landscape position. I am beyond satisfied with my purchase of the speaker. The purchase met my expectations.

The Sony ULT Field 7 is an absolutely great unreal speaker.
The speaker has an incredibly great sound with a large volume range.
You can have the music quiet or so loud that you can make your own festival.: D
You don't have to worry about controlling the speaker, it's very easy and the app you can download will help you with the controls. You can change the lights, control the volume, scroll music, etc. by moving your phone.
On each side there are LEDs that light up according to the rhythm of the music you choose. At the back of the speaker there is an opening panel where the charging inputs are hidden and you can also connect your guitar to the speaker.
Just total satisfaction, lots of gadgets and an absolutely different music listening experience. For us we can definitely recommend it.

The speaker is well portable, there are super handles on the sides, thanks to which the speaker can be taken in one hand. For how small the speaker is, I was very surprised at the maximum volume. The speaker has a beautiful design. Since the speaker has well-protected ports and buttons, I'm not afraid to leave the speaker outside. I like the clear sound even at maximum volume. The speaker also has stylish lighting that looks good at any celebration. Too bad the speaker doesn't support voice control.
