Based on the reviews, I was expecting it to play at a high level. For me, it came as a big disappointment. For the price category, the sound is quite off. Especially in the middle zone. The bass is incomplete, you can see that a lot of the work here is done by the electronics.
I would go so far as to say that the customer buys the "media center" in the first place, and then the point of the thing - to reproduce music - comes next. I bought 2pcs to pair as a stereo for a small room, but unfortunately it's not worth the money.
It's more of a fallback solution for someone who doesn't have the option/doesn't want to pull cables, or as a surround speaker - but you need a coplet set for that - woofer/soundbar etc. for XXXX€, which stops making sense altogether - at least for me.
Probably just that you don't need cables from the AVR to the speaker to connect it. Just plug it into a wall socket (however, if there is no AC socket nearby, one solves the cable anyway). The only plus I would see as surround
