Works out of the box
Without power adapter, must be purchased separately. A fire that resembles a flame as in the picture is not quite the same.

After the repair, it works
The fan was placed the other way around, so the steam went down instead of up, directly to the electronics. It had to be unscrewed and the fan turned. As an added bonus, it significantly reduced the volume.
The effect (after repair) is not great, but I expected that for the price.

For me an absolutely fantastic diffuser for little money, perfect for a small apartment. When the water runs out, it switches itself off. It has beautiful colors, plus a mode where you get the colors to blend. The base is orange which looks like fire..: )

The diffuser works as it should, gradually releasing the aromatic oil. It is a bit noisier than the StadlerForm diffuser, but you get used to it and after a while you don't notice it. I was expecting a more visible fire effect, like the aforementioned StadlerForm diffuser. But for the money, it's a good device that does the job.
