the mechanism for adjusting the trunk size can be a bit of a pain. On my trunk, the right mechanism/stop is a bit of a pain to adjust to the highest position but eventually it works.
A bit wide plate under the trunk - wider than the carrier - I would welcome a narrower one - it disturbs the design of the carrier a bit.
