For such a small speaker the sound is decent, the bass is good. You can switch between three levels of EQ, including SW lower bass for those who would be bothered by the overdriven bass. It is certainly not a perfect listening experience. But perhaps no one could expect that from such a device (even with other portable speakers of this size). For a sound system for a middle room, a small garden, something outside (when it won't bother the surroundings), it's very good. But for better listening at home, it's definitely better to choose classic, wired, wooden speakers and an amplifier. As a portable solution, but also as a more demanding user, this suits me. I'd just prefer a different way to get information about modes rather than loud voice messages. For example. when I turn the volume down to minimum, it will announce loudly that the volume is at minimum. That was probably invented by someone who doesn't think. A lot of portable speakers have this and it's a stupid solution.
