The air cooler is based on the principle that the air passes just above the level of the cool water in the tank, thus cooling it and distributing it to the room by a fan. This appliance cannot be compared to e.g. with air conditioning. For maximum efficiency, the manufacturer recommends filling the water container with water and ice cubes to ensure the greatest cooling of the air. Overall satisfaction. You can't compare it to air conditioning, it probably doesn't cool the overall temperature in the room, but when it blows on you, you are just comfortable. And after my experience with mobile air conditioning, I definitely prefer this cooler. (Mobile air conditioning is more efficient, but: has a huge electricity consumption; is much noisier; it takes up a window, so you can't use it; it sucks the air from the room and it has to be taken from somewhere => so it pulls smells from the ventilation shaft or stale air from the house => totally unsuitable for a block of flats; dear)
