A very good top level component, but if I want and need speed, practically the only choice. I recommend - from experience - I upgraded the original 256GB to 500GB and have now decided to take the next step to 1TB. The speed is impressive (ms sql server + query)
Very solid SSD. Honestly - I don't like SSDs much and if it weren't for their undeniable advantage in access and data transfer speed, I wouldn't use them. Otherwise they have only disadvantages. Seagate convinced me with this SSD in its category with its declared above-average durability and affordable price. Last but not least, the excellent support of their product when running Linux is very welcome to me.
