I am the owner of a SCX digital racetrack that is about 10 years old and because of my good experience with the brand, I bought the current model. Which was a mistake. At first glance it was obvious that although the price is higher, the quality of the components is lower. In the original car track there was a high quality, rubberized controller, currently only plastic. Mantinels - aesthetically and functionally significantly inferior solution. Cars - one of the cars didn't change the track, the fault was probably in the design of the car and there was nothing we could do about it. As far as the cars were concerned, they didn't stick on the track and it was practically impossible to drift. This may be a matter of taste, but the older version had no problems in this regard (it drifted beautifully in the corners). I was really disappointed with the purchase and returned the car track after 2 days. Here I would like to thank Alza for the hassle-free refund. I have purchased the Carerra D132 Race to Victory which I am very satisfied with, it offers much more features and is of a very good design. Price of accessories lower compared to SCX. The biggest difference is in the cars, they hold beautifully on the track, drifting without any problems.
