As an option for a Linux gaming PC, it's a great graphic. The drivers are open source, the graphics have a lot of power and work right out of the box. 20GB VRAM insures that even the memory-guzzling Proton will hopefully never hit the limit. Due to the consumption quite a lot of heating, I recommend only in a well-ventilated closet. AMD's attitude towards open source made the RX 7900 XT the obvious choice, I didn't even consider Nvidia.

The graphics are undoubtedly excellent when it comes to cooling, but once it gets to some load after some time of playing, the image starts flickering randomly. Probably a defective piece: -/. I tried installing the drivers using DDU several times in different ways.
