I bought a four-meter awning. I was worried about how I would transport it. Fortunately, it was packed in a package about 1.2 m high. The whole can be assembled from meter parts. I was a bit worried about how the Chinese engineers solved the connection of parts up to a four-meter length. They confirmed their reputation. My mistake was believing that connecting the four sections of the winder rod using an internal spacer secured with two 3mm self-tapping screws would be sufficient. The awning was as skinny as a bow and I had to take it down after the first day because I was worried it would fall out of its hold. I finally riveted the individual parts together with tear rivets. Unfortunately, the aluminum tubes with a thickness of 1 mm were already somewhat " pulled" out of the bend. That is why I recommend riveting the winding pipe before the first hanging. I also point out that it is necessary to pull the sheet into the groove of the winding tube before connecting the individual parts. Due to inaccuracies in the connection of the parts, it is subsequently impossible to pull the tarpaulin into the groove and there is a risk of tearing the tarpaulin. Otherwise, the awning is good for the price.
