There are 3 connectors on cables coming out of the camera (Ethernet, power cable, restart button). You will definitely want to cover these cables, which is why you need a mounting cover (https://www.alza.cz/reolink-d20-ochranny-kryt-d6128824. htm). The mounted camera with mounting cover is quite massive. In addition, the cover is soft grey and the camera is white. Other cover directly from Reolink is not compatible with this camera.
If you have an Ethernet connection, the 2 cables mentioned above are an unnecessary burden. But most other brands of cameras have such a stupid solution. For example, Ubiquiti cameras have only an Ethernet port directly in the camera body and can be mounted directly on the wall. But in terms of price/performance ratio, they are far worse off.
