In 1957, an assembly-line production of an electric cooker with a lid-heating element began in Kostelec nad Černými lesy. Even after so many years, Remoska is still being produced. The pot is made of aluminium and coated with the Teflon Select material. Plastic handles are attached for better handling. The stand is made of heat-resistant plastic. The lid is equipped with a heating element and is partially made of glass, so you can keep an eye on your food. The excess heat and steam, generated while cooking, is released through the lid's float valves.  Just like the pot, the lower part of the lid is covered with Teflon. The power switch, situated on the top, can be used to switch the heating unit off and on.
