Compared to the original stands, I have more space on my desk.
The arm end cap and the VESA LCD plate have clearance between them. Bigger than small. I bought 2 pieces, so either I'm really out of luck or this is a weak point of the design.
The orange plastic on the arm parts looks like a cable holder, but only one will fit.

The holder is of solid construction which suggests it could be stable. It is not. When hanging an 11 kg, 32" monitor, the arm bends slightly. I wouldn't mind that so much, my desk is against the wall and I won't be looking at it from behind. The problem arises in the connection of the metal plate (VESA frame) with the bracket arm itself. The single screw locking is quite vachrlatá and every time I touch the monitor (for example, when pressing the monitor buttons) the monitor always swings a step to the side and I always have to return it back to the horizontal position. The second instability I experienced was when I tilted the monitor upwards. After a few minutes, it always came back to my straight position. Together with the first problem, it's an annoying job with the user constantly trying to get the monitor in a comfortable position. Another minus is the considerable distance of the monitor arm from the wall. This is of course my stupidity that I didn't notice/ didn't realize due to the construction which is visible in the photos. The bar attachment is in the middle of the base, so it is quite far from the edge of the table. In addition, the arm is mounted quite logically on the front of the rod which creates an even greater offset from the edge of the table and the arm will not allow the monitor to be moved further away from the user, because the joint does not have enough clearance for this. This allows me to fit a fairly large document binder behind the monitor. It's not pretty and I didn't get the benefits I wanted. I could have stuck with the stand that the manufacturer puts in the box with the monitor. In the end, though, the mount isn't bad at all for smaller, lighter monitors. I, with my big dented beast, had better buy another stand. I would probably just rethink the load capacity specifications of this product if I were the manufacturer. I would consider returning the product and buying a more expensive one with more load capacity and wider positioning.
