My monitor's about 8kg. It holds like nailed, but it's hard to manipulate, it's awfully light for this mount and you need to use both hands and a bit of strength to move it around. If the monitor had 4kg more, it would be easier to handle. I wanted a stronger mount rather than a weaker one. The best thing to do is to stick to the +/- doropucene weight.

For the price, it's probably the best I've seen. I have a Dell Alienware Ultrawide display, and the previous arm could handle the weight on paper, but you could see it was slightly over the limit.
