it wasn't quite clear from the description, but the bed has a zipper all around the inside, so the bottom and side cushions can be removed and then it fits in the washing machine without a problem, so great! is for a medium dog about 20 kg, we ordered a larger XL size for a golden retriever, about 35 kg and it also fits comfortably: )
