All I would end up doing is buying a pair of clamps and trying to connect them to a PC, which will still compromise quality. The tester just shows if the ends are connected and you have to catch a sequence of blinks. And I don't recommend connecting to PoE.

the stripping shears work well
I am dissatisfied.
The pliers press crookedly after about 3 terminals and some contacts do not press.
The tester worked for about 10connectors, then started reporting a flat error for 6 cores even with purchased cables
I'm claiming the whole package.
