Sometimes it can be a little slower but it's not always, hopefully an update will help
the colours are sufficient for colouring, but they are rather pastel

Overall, the reader is good, but the dark display and the inability to adjust the font to your own needs (contrast, thickness) make it hard to read. Compared to my old Kindle, it's much easier to use and more user-friendly, but a lot heavier, which was the difference for me after so long. I wanted a color reader for a better picture book experience, but I guess I'd rather wait a while for a color display.
