After the purchase, there was enthusiasm for the new innovative solution. I didn' t understand the reviews where it was written that it doesn' t work, it shaves unevenly, it doesn' t shave smoothly, it misses individual beards or hair, shaving takes a long time and you have to shave one place repeatedly several times, and despite that, the shave is not as perfect as with a regular " scissor" shaver. After about 4 months of use, I have to agree with all these reviews. Not that it doesn' t work at all, but it' s an imperfect and not reliable shave. Believe it or not, you have to try it on yourself and then throw it away.

I haven't figured out how to do it either, but this is really, really awkward. I had a previous simpler Philips and bought this as a replacement. I made a mistake and had to go back to the original one for practical reasons. This one, although older, cuts much faster. If you have a little longer hair or beard (I get a haircut about once a week), this new Philips is pretty much useless and you'll be mad if it doesn't take all your hair on the third pass of the same spot. Well, I'll have to replace it with something maybe less pretty, but functional.
