Bought as a replacement for an older very similar Philips type. This iron has a reduced number of holes in the ironing surface compared to the original, the extra holes are only indicated but not functional. So far it seems to be OK and it doesn't matter. I see a little weak point in the handle material. The older type had a softened plastic on the handle, something like rubber, which provided very good fixation during movement. But it was also gradually coming off and deteriorating with use. The new iron has a handle made entirely of hard plastic. I suppose it's just a matter of habit.
I welcome the fact that for the same volume of water, this iron is a little lighter. Savings are sometimes made in the wrong place. on the cable is missing a small plastic grip, which serves to fix the cable during storage and was on the original one.
