The flashlight looks a bit "plastic" compared to older models, like a noname headlamp from OBI, but it's just an impression. Petzl still hasn't learned how to make a flashlight waterproof like the rest of the globe. There's a seal under the cover, but it's obviously giving them problems. The pendulum tilt, which does not shift the centre of gravity and allows the flashlight to tilt up as well as down, is a good idea compared to older models. But it's built on plastic "knobs", so we'll see how long it takes to break. The old way, based on one main pin, was indestructible. I praise the higher performance compared to older versions, I praise the fact that the red diode turns on with a long press and doesn't hang up between normal "short" modes, I praise the battery status indication, I praise the fluorescent ring around the diode for searching in the dark (but older models could do that too). I highly commend the included headband pouch. For the manufacturer it is "crap" for 10 CZK, but it is very pleasing and increases the useful value of the headlamp. The Alza description, which repeatedly mentions the battery, implies that there is a battery in the package, but there is not. It is a bare headlamp with ordinary AAA batteries, you have to buy the battery (it costs as much as the whole headlamp). Careful Alzo, don't let anyone talk you into it for false advertising!
