Finally a good mobile device holder! Although I'm not a fan of mounting the mount to the vent slats, with my new vehicle it wasn't easy to figure out where else to mount it so that the phone wouldn't hang up unnecessarily, but at the same time be within reach for putting away. The grip on the slats is firm and stable, I am not worried about damaging them. The magnet is strong enough, too. So the higher price tag is justified here because it's a product that someone has thought about and it's also well made.
