The stand can also accommodate a wider laptop. The silicone connection has no stops, it is loosely inserted in the sides, so it slides when handling an empty stand. It doesn't have rubberized feet, so it rides on the table. Just a small scratch to the laptop or a bent cable and the laptop stand moves immediately. For a product at this price I would not really expect the mentioned shortcomings .
