It heats up probably less than the JMicron JMS583 controller but under Linux 5.4.143 it was necessary to disable the UAS driver, otherwise the drive stops communicating on the USB bus after a while of use. Basically, it is good to get a hot water adhesive, e.g. Akas double-sided thermal conductive adhesive tape 8x8cm and basically use the whole thing to tape the wafer and the NVMe memory itself, there is almost nothing left.
