I was relatively happy with the projector at first, it was quiet in eco mode and I got used to the more pronounced edge lighting, because I thought I couldn't get a better 120 Hz projector for the money anyway, so I kept it. But after about 2.5 years, I've gotten to the stage where the described drawbacks annoy me so much that I'm considering buying a new projector. I can't recommend it.
It's working.
Lamp life.
Initially quiet in ECO lamp mode.
A while after the warranty expired, a dead pixel appeared (glows white).
Subjectively worse picture than the previous BENQ W1060.
When operating on ECO, the image starts to flicker after a while and the lamp has to be switched to standard mode for some time.
CEC deactivation does not work (although it is off, the projector turns on together with the receiver).
Unsuitable plastic/construction of the lamp is used, the plastic into which the lamp holder is screwed becomes brittle due to heat and then cracks when it has to be disassembled (after 2 years).
Noisy in non ECO mode.
Not very good quality sealing of the optics, after blowing to remove dust, this got between the lenses and I had to disassemble the projector, clean it.
