I traded in my iPhone 16 pro for this oneplus 13. Except for a few weak moments when I got caught up in a fantasy and wanted something other than an iPhone, I've had an apple for years. I got bored of the same song over and over again year after year, so now I've definitely switched from my 16 pro to OnePlus. I have to say that sensationally OnePlus is faster in the environment by a hair than iPhone. Photos as ever, but OnePlus seems to be doing a hair better too. I upgraded to this phone from the OnePlus 8 Pro, so I'll be comparing. In terms of the phone, everything is more or less as I was used to, but everything is more nimble, faster, the fingerprint reader is better, the display has slightly less rounded edges, so even on the edges you can write with it quite comfortably (although, unfortunately, the display is still not straight). In terms of the camera, the progress isn't great, but it shoots photos and videos nicely. The quality of photos from the wide-angle and base lens is basically the same, better than the OnePlus 8 Pro's telephoto lens. It takes decent photos up to 6x zoom, maximum is 18x zoom. HiRes mode (shooting at 50 Mpx, normally shoots at 12 Mpx) does not really solve this, because the quality of optics in mobile phones will always be limited and unless we want photos distorted by artificial intelligence, it probably won't be much better in mobile phones. The biggest progress is in video. I shoot in 4K/60 and the glitches at the beginning of the video and unwanted "effects" when zooming are over. Video is smooth and zooming is smooth too. Even communication with the environment via WiFi (e.g. screen sharing) is better. Also, the more powerful battery is noticeable on the endurance. Upgrading from the OnePlus 8 Pro makes sense to me (at sale prices), if I had a OnePlus 12, I'd probably stick with it.
