What a shame. If there was beef leather in the base instead of awkward vegan leather, it wouldn't crack underneath. It's actually a thin salmon skin glued to a synthetic backing. Strap washed once a week, lubricated with cream. I've really gone to a lot of trouble with the maintenance. Too bad. I'm gonna try and keep it alive with some silicone glue.
It looks really luxurious
I've had it since 10.9. and it's 18.12. and already the bottom is cracking and the salmon skin is peeling off
