I bought the flashlight in January 2022 and since then I have been extremely satisfied with it. I have had the opportunity to accidentally test the water and drop resistance several times and it has never failed me. But about the case. It would have been fine on its own, but the velcro closure doesn't hold much after a year of use and the flashlight is placed with the switch down, so I've often had it in my belt holster inadvertently turn on when I sit down somewhere and inadvertently lean the switch against a chair. But the flashlight itself is excellent. If I ever managed to destroy it or lose it, I'd go for it again.
