We have been using a thermostat and heads (5 pieces) in our home for 6 years and the experience has been negative. It worked fine for the first 2 years, but after 3 years the displays went out on all of them. The internal motors for controlling the valve are not working on about 2-3 heads, which means that the head pretends in the application that it is not heating, but in reality it is open and overheats, thus increasing the heating costs unnecessarily. The app used to be good, but they ditched the whole thing 2 years ago and now it's a horror. The device does not report in time that the batteries are weak, and when they are too weak, it stays open, which is great when you are just away for a week, so then it heats all the time unnecessarily (in our case, there is not much danger that the temperature in the apartment would drop enough to freeze the water in the pipes). Service is zero. The only official option is to send it somewhere in France and hope and wait for a month until they fix it, or. they're more likely to offer to buy you a new one.
After about 4-5 years, the plastic that holds the head on the valve cracks. Overpriced crap. I advise you not to buy.
after 3 years the batteries died, since then I have to change them every 3 days. I have comtacted directly netatmo and it is said that there is a component in the board going out and it can't be fixed. Should I buy a new thermostat
I hope the quality controll of this wonder has improved over the last six years, I wouldn't buy it again. I've had it for 6.5 years now and after changing the batteries the display no longer flips, I can't reset it, and I can't easily move the cable in the wall so I won't have it centered on the pole, which bothers me enough to make me want to kick someone in the ass. but I think I'll buy a half-price one this time and put this one in the cottage and let it live there: -/
Looks good.
I don't give a Chinese man control over everything
Quite solidly crafted
dipsplay went right after warranty (replacement cost 1kč, today I would do it myself, display costs on alík about 200-300, -)
the accelerometer for display orientation went away after six years, so
Unfortunately, after 2-3 years, the display melts and you are left with only an app ... for the money, definitely not! I have about 5 of them unfortunately... 😏
