I bought the MSI PRO Z690-A DDR4 motherboard for the i7 12700K processor and 2x8GB DDR4 3600MHz CL16 memory. The installation of all components on the board and the subsequent installation in the cabinet took place without any problems. The BIOS is very clear and easily adjustable from fan curves through CPU overclocking to RAM overclocking. The motherboard has plenty of both rear and front connectors, fan connections, and solid state drives from which it has one passive heatsink in the package. I was also pleased with the black IO shield, which matches my cabinet perfectly. The board is also compatible with the Noctua NH-D15 heatsink, which is a must for i7 12700K air cooling. Overall, I rate the motherboard very positively and I would recommend it to anyone thinking about upgrading to 12 generations of Intel processors. The only downside could be the absence of a button to clear the CMOS, but this was not necessary yet. When comparing features and prices with the competition, you will not get better.
